The Ratification Method.
"Converging on 99.9% ratified accuracy" is a claim with a definition, a denominator, and a distance-left. This page is all three.
What "ratified" means
A ratified answer lane is a category of question where ECCA's answers are checked against published exercise-science evidence and the app's own tested engines , not just generated and hoped about. An answer from a ratified lane is one whose grounding has survived review; an answer from an unratified lane is a capable model doing its best, clearly subject to the same honesty rails but without the badge.
The ladder every lane climbs
Where the number comes from
99.9% is a convergence target, not a scorecard we award ourselves. The denominator is the lane's checkable claims, statements that can be compared against the evidence base or recomputed from the engines. Opinions, preferences, and open research questions are excluded from the denominator and answered with stated uncertainty instead.
Honest status, today
Strength training is the home-turf lane and the furthest along the ladder: grounded in exercise-science evidence and the app's tested engines, guarded by automated contracts, under active adversarial review.
General questions are welcome, ECCA is a capable general engine, but general lanes are not yet ratified. They carry the same honesty rails: say-so when evidence is thin, no medical calls, no invented numbers.
The eval harness (v1) now grades ECCA's home-turf answers against a mechanical golden set: required concepts, banned claims, professional-referral rules, honest-uncertainty markers. Measured results publish here as runs accumulate.
Measured (run 2, 2026-08-03): 36 of 42 mechanical checks passed (85.7%), 20 of 24 questions fully clean, graded against golden set v1. Failures are adjudicated in the open ledger; grader corrections carry the answer that exposed them as a permanent fixture.
This page is the definition of the claim on our front door. When the method changes, this page changes first.
The hard lines that never move
ECCA never diagnoses and never prescribes treatment, pain, injury, and illness go to a licensed professional, every time. No invented numbers from your logs. No claims of features that do not exist. Honesty about uncertainty beats a confident wrong answer.
